Will Snell served for nearly twenty years as a General Chairman for IAM railroad machinists.
A summary of his career follows the interview he gave to Jon Flanders in March of 2008
Will is planning on writing a book on his experiences. Of that project he says " Let the new generation of rail workers benefit from the victories and defeats of the past."
He also says that "it should be made clear that my some 40 years of experience in working for, or dealing with, railroads and unions on a daily basis is confined to that portion of the railroad industry east of the Mississippi River."

W. Snell - Could it be better? No way. Best interview!
Many people in this country have no thoughts on 'craft unions' per se, it takes a history lesson as referenced in Snell's interview to grasp.
I printed this. Simple and pure, this is alone a teaching document. Thanks to RailWorkersUnited - this one is super.
